From the people to the online resources available, CFMA is top notch. I would advise you to check out the Connection Cafe when you do become a member. That's the CFMA blog where you can ask your peers about any accounting, insurance, software, bonding, etc. issues you may have. It really offers a great opportunity to connect with others that may be in the same boat as you. Don't forget to join your local chapter too! They typically hold lunch and learns and other events that are great for learning and networking.
